[font=Arial] Sorry to hear about Zebra - he's too energetic for his own good. When Sadie came to live with us we had a similar problem with Gemma our older dog. She led a fairly sedate life before Sadie came then went full tilt - thought she was a young dog again and ran and played with Sadie doing everything she did. We thought it was wonderful how they were running and playing together but Gemma one morning could not walk on one of her legs at all. The vet said she had strained all the ligaments and tendons in that leg and may need an operation if rest did not heal it. She has heeled and no operation needed. We no longer let her tear around and leave that all to Sadie. Time and only gentle exercise did the trick and she is as good as new now. I am sure with careful watching Zebra will fully recover and now you are aware that there can be a problem, you can monitor him doing to much and use your trick of diverting him with a toy - it always works, you just need a lot of toys.
With best wishes to you all.
Shirl, Sadie and Gemma

Thanks for worrying about him but the good news is that Zebs better - hurrah!
He's been on holiday for the last week - visiting his grand parents (in Lincolnshire) and meeting their new dog Jack (the Jack Russell) - I'll upload some photos once I've unpacked the camera as we only just got home today.
In fact on his journey, Zeb got to visit many places on the way up from Ikea in Bristol to at least one service station every hour due to the wind he had!!

Every stop was a walk to see if he needed to do what we know he needed doing but he saved it until we were at the destination.

Just a quick update to let you all know that Zebra likes coconut!
We cracked one open today and we all sat on the kitchen floor eating bits - he really chews them up before swallowing!! :D

Turns out that Zebra loves vegetables; mainly raw broccoli and carrots as both are very crunchy and he loves to chew!
He's not keen on lettuce as it tends to be floppy and he very quickly spits it out of the bowl...
Oh and an occasionally boiled egg goes down a treat as well.... messy but tasty!

He's on rest at the moment as he has managed to cut one of his back feet last Sunday on either glass or a can in the long grass he was running through. Zebras been on short walks for toilet trips but after his second bandage change yesterday the nurse has given us the all clear to road walk him so today he had his first hour long wander in 7 days and he felt it...
We are now looking at buying him some dog boots to protect his feet as he has so many problems; if we get some - expect some photos of him looking like a rock climber!!
Sample dog boots (not Zebras legs)

Oh and I forget to mention that we popped back to Gables to gift aid some money we had raised and Zebra loved the attention; everyone came out to say hello and Zebs little stump didn't stop moving.... he missed you all but loves where he is.

Yep The Zeb Meister is finally back to his lunatic self - BALL BALL BALL BALL!
He's running around and chasing his ball after his foot was cut. He's enjoying the sunshine and as I'm working from home a whole lot more he has the back door open and sunbathes for the morning until we wander out for lunch time walks; then his routine is to lie on my bed to cool off and have an afternoon carrot.

I've found a new website which will allow you to upload your own photos for various effects - some of which you can see below.
Zeb on TV; Transformers (its current topic in the film world!

) and how Zebra looks on a big poster!
The web page you can create your own pictures is
